As her career began sinking, she found a second career hawking orange juice.
Then she went political*, and became pure poison to the advertisers. (Ture, she was msitreated, but she kind of brought it on herself.) Then she went to Branson, or Pigeon Forge, or some place like that, and got in trouble for fraud. I'm actually suprised she didn't offer to entertain at the Inauguration.

*some speculate that her anger against homos had to do with her husband being a closeted queer, although I don't think this has been verified.

She wasn't bad looking and kind of what you'd call a wholesome girl next door pretty , but she had a sort of hard look after the gays destroyed her career. She was only in her late 30s at the time, yet she looked almost matronly and nearing 50.

She toured the Bible Belt with her "Save Our Children" Campaign. She was in Norfolk, Virginia at a rally at a Conservative Christian revival, when gays came in and protested. She burst into tears and sang "God Bless America.
