If William Moreno was convicted of a felony, would Eesh still have to pay him?

If Moreno were to commit a crime along the lines of molestation, posession of child pornography, murder or any other grand criminal offense, would Mike Basl still be legally obligated to pay him?

Eesh has to stockpile enough cash to pay a bankruptcy attorney. Then he can file under Chapter 7 and have the debt discharged. If the Moronos object, they can try to make their case, but the standard of proof is higher. Eesh would likely prevail if he can afford an attorney. Either way the Moronos would be paying out for another trial.
