I've been to Haiti. It's worse than you could ever imagine......even on it's best day.

I've been there as well. It is truly a shithole and much of the previous 50 years of progress was destroyed by the earthquake. They have deforested their entire half of the island for firewood, and there is no vegetation left to hold back the floodwaters.

Ironically the Haitian people are not stupid like the natives of many central American shitholes. Haitians are incredibly talented musically and artistically; they deserve better than what they do to themselves.
