No headphone jack is just wrong! You can make a phone watertight without removing the headphone jack!

Fanbois had better not question the almighty Apple. Everyone else can just go get a reasonably priced device.

Certain apps are only available on IOS, generally more availability than android. Much nicer design and better feel than most androids and a higher resale value. But otherwise android is better, wish I could get one but due to work need an IOS.

Don't suppose it comes with Bluetooth headphones does it?

Of course not. How else can they pull more money out of your pocket for support equipment?

And don't even mention how Bluetooth opens up a whole new world for hackers.

Yes because bluetooth is new technology. I'm sure the hackers just can't wait to hack into your bluetooth to listen to your music.

That’s the way I felt when they began making phones without the lanyard latch. It forces you to buy a case.

But first I'd have to be stupid enough to buy an iPhone, right?

So you think that Bluetooth is limited to accessing your music?

Apple eliminates the floppy disc from Macs. Outrage!!!

Apple eliminates the disc drive from Air Books. Outrage!!!

Apple introduces an overpriced and unnecessary reader called the iPad. Outrage!!!

I don't know if the headphone jack thing is the next iPad or Apple Watch (aka Bomb). But the market will tell. Don't like it? Don't buy it. Not like you can't get a headphone jack from Samsung, LG, etc.

iPhone 7 does not include a headphone jack the traditional 3.5mm connector. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have arrived without a headphone jack. But while the decision is undoubtedly a source of controversy. i want to buy Bowers & Wilkins P7 Headphones, but i dont know buy or not them. Here`s a good article with examples http://jonsguide.org/best-top-bowers-wilkins-p7-reviews/

if Apple can remove a physical jack that idiots break by jamming when they "plug into their rock"

if they can replace that by a product that isn't breakable (bluetooth) that doesn't "come with" the unit, they will

-----------------------------

meanwhile

TROLL. the iPhone 7 has the same plug-reliable lightning jack that can do fast data, charging, and audio

people had issues with firewire - they broke the smaller delicate connectors

The iphone 7 comes with a lightening to 3.5mm jack so you can still use plug in headphones.

I still feel sorry for those people who drilled into their phones hoping to get a new headphone jack.

Yeah, Gerry's still having problems making calls after making that mistake.

Wait, what am I thinking? Gerry's still using a phone like this one.
