The rabbi was asked by Ivanka to simply say the opening prayer at the convention, which he agreed to do.
But Democrats would have nothing of that, and quickly started petitions to force him to back out. Lookstein, who is viewed by many as a uniter, decided that the uproar would distract from his simple message of unity.
This may backfire on the Democrats as they seek both the radical jewish vote and the radical Muslim vote. The American people are starting to see through that.

Six months into his first term, Obama acting like a child taking up for his best friend drew a line in the sand. When his professor buddy was arrested for opening his front door with a large screw driver, Obama stated immediately without knowing any of the facts that the "police acted stupidly."
Immediately the msm twisted the story into being about race and Obama agreed.....still without knowing the facts.
Ultimately the cop was exonerated but by the time the truth came out, the country never heard the truth. Only that Obama was going to fix everything with a beer summit.

More fuck ups right as Paul Ryan goes to speak. The Alaska delegation objects to the way their delegates were counted. As far as I can tell, each state read it's delegate count by candidate (Trump, Cruz, etc.) per their rules , BUT the votes were recorded differently by the RNC per their rules. Alaska feels cheated as they were not advised about this. Once again, sloppy planning by the RNC. A little coordination could have avoided this mess. Meanwhile, the speeches have been delayed by at least half an hour.
