The British geriatrics who pushed the UK towards Brexit basically told the world "we wish to be a second rate nation". Last I checked, the Pound/ Dollar exchange rate was $1.00= .75 Pounds sterling. The Pound is quickly turning into the Franc.

No one is punishing anyone. The market is reacting to the decision made by Brits who are already on their way out for Britain's economic future. The EU isn't perfect, but it gave Britain the economic and political leverage to project its influence throughout Europe and the world. It raised the value of Britain's currency and it's economic output considerably. All of that is thrown into question now. I love how the Rustics of North-Central Virginia think they have any clue on how the economics and politics of Europe work.

Sweden will be next . They can't take any more Muslims .
