Clinton Flip-Flops on Coal, Now Wants Coal to Prosper

Hillary Clinton has a very complicated opinion of coal. In March, she proudly declared, "we are going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business."

Now, she says she wants to see coal "continued to be sold and continued to be mined."

Which is it?

It might in the future, if energy prices go up. But for now, we can stop mining the stuff.

Here's the dirty little secret:
fracking the natural gas out of the earth for energy is likely not any better for Mother Earth's health than drilling out the oil, or digging, mining, blasting out the coal. We need to make solar panels more affordable, dare I say commonplace, manufacture them right here in the U.S.A., and harvest more wind to use for energy generation. Tax breaks for energy efficient upgrades that use natural and renewable resources.
