Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Trump, like the pretentious dick that he is, obsessively gloats about the Ivy League degree he has and how "super smart" it makes him, but not even it, Penn's Wharton school of business wants to have anything to do with them. He's persona non grata at Penn.
Trump was considered an embarrassment to the school long before he got into politics. Even when he was a liberal he was viewed as sort of a tacky and loud braggart.

Gerry's just being self-descript with this comment.

lol, who would of thought he was a prime Republican nominee the whole time.
Only people who are enormously insecure feel compelled to mention where they went to school every time they open their mouths. In Trump's case, of course, it's even worse since the implication is he got an MBA. The cynicism is breathtaking - Trump knows his supporters are too ignorant to get the difference.

The guy loves the poorly educated. Really he does.
The poorly educated love him too. Especially the poorly educated rightards on ffxu that can't communicate using words and like to post pictures and shapes and colors instead.
I made an impromptu trip to Philly in January to check out liberty hall, grab a cheese steak, check out the "Rocky stairs" etc. and visited Penn. I noticed at the bookstore I had a hard time finding any of Trump's books, and when I asked one of the people at the information desk, I got an eye roll, and a sort of sad reaction of "We try to tone down any affiliation we have with Mr.Trump." When I asked why, I got a "we don't want to get political" and a "He hasn't really been too involved with Alumni stuff lately". I read that as " He's giving us a bad name, and he's not giving us money to compensate for it".

My ex was a Penn grad and like I mentioned up top, he's always been seen as a joke up there. This was even back in the late 90s, long before his current dive into rightwing polemics. He was seen as a joke, sort of a greasy car salesman with funny hair who was obnoxious, and there may have very well been an issue with him not being very generous back to his alma mater, I don't really remember. But it was definitely something the students & grads thought was funny in a SMH kind of way. Sort of like your drunk old uncle who makes a fool of himself every christmas. He was a dem back then too and rarely spoke politics (compared to now).
I wonder how Penn and liberal professors feel about president elect Trump now? No doubt they will clamor to get aboard the Trump train and claim they were behind him all along.

You are not a real American if you never served your country, chickenshit.
Merry Xmas, loser
.
Penn is a third tier Ivy League school at best and an over glorified flag ship public school at worst. No innovation comes out of that school, and even when someone who is actually competent and hard working like Trump gets produced by them, they can't see it. Anyone considering applying to penn would be better off going to another Ivy League school or even uva.
