I don't know how they can call the winners with only 9% of the vote in. I'm concerned that Kasich is moving up in the polls. He's the only halfway sane Rupublican in the race, which means he'd be harder to beat. But who the hell knows any more.

News organizations have access to extensive exit polling. They dont release any of that to the public. Exit polls are historically accurate. They have way more than 9 percent of the vote if they compare and adjust with their exit polling info.
By the way, Bush lost to Kerry in Ohio in the 2004 exit polling. Diebold came through.

Bernie Sanders won a majority of all Democratic votes cast. Trump won with less than a majority beacause of a crowded field. Sanders looks like he pulled more of the independents than Trump did.

Make no mistake about it. Republicans have already done damage to American credibility abroad with this Trump victory. Internationally allies will now be watching the race closely and making preparations for changes in relations with the U.S. because of the potential for Trump and his rhetoric.
