New Testament is a book of love, if you read the Quran it contains a lot of reasons for Holy War, including the elimination of Christians and Jews. It states in the Koran that a Muslim must never make a friend of the Christian and Jew as they will act to convert them to their ways. So what? It's just an account of what happened at the time by Moses. Of course there were wars. New testament puts it all into perspective. The old testament is the book of the Jews, the old covenant.

The Koran does not have anything like the New Testament. Its an awful hate filled book. So is the Jewish Talmud.

You need to study more about these books before coming to a conclusion. It doesn't sound like you have really looked into these things that much. The reason people are telling you that its because it's the old testament is correct. Just removing the old testament would leave out a lot of context for the book as a whole.
