Some of the effects and characters (Harrison Ford! Gwendolyn Christine!) will be cool, the plot will suck and be full of midichlorians.

x2 on it will SUCK.
All the sequel movies lately have been sucking.
When are they going to come out with something new?
I get more enjoyment out of my netflix than going to the theater now anyways...no new movie has interested me in the past few years to where I will happily pay $12 a ticket + to see it....

The SW franchsie does try to keep up with the times.
With the second flick, they introduced a black character.
The prequels introduced an air force with female pilots.
Will the feature a gay character in the new movie? Or does C3PO count? Or maybe a transgender - perhaps we discover that Han Solo is now Hannah Solo?

Like most sequels it will suck. Name me one sequel in the last 15 years that was better than the original?

I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for these chapters in Star Wars with the laser swords because it's a Jedi weapon

"The Dark Knight" (2008) is better than "Batman Begins" (2005)

Every "Mission Impossible" film after M:I 2 is better than the previous one (which was, admittedly, a piece of shite).
