I'm disappointed in the Republican Party
Posted by: The Middle ()

I am a life-long Conservative. I have voted Republican across the board since I was 18 years old.

I am not saying I am switching parties. I am saying that I am very disappointed in the Republican party because they are doing what the Left is doing. While the Left seems to be going further Left, the Republican party is going further Right.

WTF??

Despite what the media reports (just a bunch of ratings-grabbing bullshit from a small percentage of America), a huge majority of this country wants to work, pay taxes, live their lives, and be left alone. They don't care about abortion, religious issues, and sure as hell aren't interested in being forced to fund the lives of others.

We don't need a Democrat. We don't need a Republican. We need a normal, intelligent, business-savvy person who isn't a loudmouth (ie Trump) and has a platform for what's best for the majority.

I'm really disappointed in the Republicans. Same goes for the Democrats.

Couldn't agree more. Can't understand why so many reps spend so much time shoring up the klan vote - those guys are gonna vote republican no matter what. I sincerely hope some actual fiscal conservative (not just a 1% front man) comes forward soon, else we may actually be looking at another President Clinton. I don't think she'd be the worst thing that ever happened to us but we can do better.

Um, facts, history, current events and elected officials say otherwise.

Ha ha ha. But seriously, please tell me that last one is a photoshop job. I at least gave some credit to the KKK for standing by unpopular opinions. The first one is at least accurate, albeit a testament to the fact that republicans have to go back 150 years to pretend to be the party of inclusion.

No, Gerry, I am not a RINO. I fall in the middle. I am a mix of Conservative and Liberal. I am not opposed to abortion (because I don't give a shit). I'm not opposed to birth control (because I don't give a shit). I'm not opposed to gay marriage (because I don't give a shit). Trans-gender people are chemically and emotionally fucked up and I don't agree with their lifestyle...but let them work, pay taxes, etc (because I don't give a shit). I don't give a shit about how things hurt people feelings or if things are offensive, because I know that a large segment of society these days is sitting around waiting to be offended by something. I'm not opposed to legal immigration. I'm not opposed to any race. But I expect everyone to be here legally, pay taxes, not kill anyone, leave everyone the fuck alone, and pay their own way through life.

Neither party represents me.

Obama really brought out the crazy racists in the republicans. I think that was the start of the real downfall the GOP. Even people in the GOP left and formed another party (Tea Party).

Agree. We should go back to the time in America when women couldn't vote. When whites had the liberty own black people. When women couldn't attend college or pursue the careers they wanted. When native Americans could be forced off the land they lived on. When it was perfectly legal for a business to discriminate against Jews. When blacks, women, gays couldn't serve in the armed forces. When people owing debts could be arrested and jailed.

There are so many F'king "Conservatives" running for president, Loudoun resident Rick Santorum had to go on Rachel Maddow's show last night just to get any prime time television exposure.

Thanks Fox News!

It was cordial until Rachel had to explain to powers and the role of the Supreme Court to Rick. Dr. Carson, Rick Perry, Booby Jindal, who's up next?

Back oto the Donald, on yesterday's Wendy Williams Show, she had on Penn & Teller. She asked Penn about the Donald, and Penn said that on Celebrity Apprentice, you were contracted to say "Trump would make a great President" while filming the program. Penn said he never said it, so, that omission is why he thinks Trump fired him.

Totally plausible.
