Meade has recently taken to sending people to a white supremacist site to read about 'Happy slave narratives'.

DISCLAIMER:

I'm not trying to defend slavery here. Slavery was not a good thing. But why do people deny that some slaves were happy?

I found this website and it lists several accounts of positive slave stories. Also many people don't realize this, but some slaves were told they had to say they had a negative experience to corroborate with slaves that had a bad experience so that they could get Government benefits. This means that some of the negative slave accounts were actually falsified.
