Yep. It was called "desegregation". Murder, rape, incarnation, substance abuse, unemployment rates all increased in the black community after desegregation. Young black men once held the highest employment rates over young white, hispanic, and asian men. At least that was until the Democrat LBJ truly fucked them over with his "Great Society". Not to say that whites didn't fuck up by making things not truly seperate and equal.
