Job growth last month shifted to higher-paying positions in a sign of a broadening labor market recovery.

Professional and business services, construction and health care led the solid 223,000 job gains reported by the Labor Department on Friday. Retail and leisure and hospitality lagged. Both have been engines of payroll gains through most of the U.S. employment upswing since 2010.

"We're seeing more quality jobs," says Diane Swonk, chief economist of Mesirow Financial. The trend, she says, partly reflects a widening recovery that includes a pickup in full-time positions.

Republicans are not doing enough to stop this cracker in the White House from improving the US economy.

If this good US economy continues it's going to make Bush and republicans look like idiots.

Trickle down does not work. Our shit is falling apart we need more money and we need it from the rich. Its that simple. If you are making millions a year we need a big chunck of your money. You dont like it leave. Poor and middle class keep the economy going not the rich. That part always makes me laugh. Millions of us spending vs. a thousand rich bastards. Absurd. Tax breakls for everyone but the rich. and yes make sure the old, infirm and children have medical care and eat.

You forgot Bush giving away $600 BILLION TAXPAYER DOLLARS(TARP) to save big banks and the auto industry.
