An NFL report released Wednesday on the New England Patriots' "deflategate" controversy during the 2015 AFC Championship Game has found that "it is more probable than not that New England Patriots personnel" deliberately deflated footballs below the approved thresholds.

The report adds that it is more probable than not that quarterback Tom Brady was "at least generally aware" of the decision to do so. However, the report says the investigators "do not believe there was any wrongdoing or knowledge of wrongdoing by Patriots ownership, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick or any other Patriots coach in the matters investigated" or "Patriots head equipment manager Dave Schoenfeld."

So cheaters do win?

It's well known that the Pats cheat. They've been in trouble before and many other coaches have remarked on how their radios cut out while playing in Boston. This isn't news.

They should be forced to surrender their superbowl rings to their opponents.

More probable than not
Generally aware
Do not believe there was wrongdoing by owner or coach.

Wow. Slam dunk investigation. Nice out for the Patriots again.

Cheating is cheating. Lance Armstrong had to pay back all his winnings, so should the Patriots. Why isn't congress getting involved with this like PED use?

First of all, congress getting involved in pro sports is just fucking stupid and only a lib thing because they hate America.

What is this topic?

A complete bull-s*** of an investigation over something that meant little if anything.

So the ball was a little soft? SO WHAT? How does affect one team more than the other...They BOTH used the same balls out on the field, under the same conditions.......how did that give one team an advantage? Besides, if the air temperature fell sharply before the game, that alone wold explain all or part of it......air pressure drops roughly 1 PSI for every ten degree drop in temperature. Last, where were the refs?...it's THIR job to check and verify the balls before a game. If they were absent-minded or didn't do their job, how's that the Patriot's fault?

It's precisely because of nonsense like this, that wastes time and produces nothing, that the people in NFL management need to get a life.

Cheating, my ass. To accuse the Patriots of chewing is absurd.

There was no cheating here. The same balls were used by both teams out on the field, under the same conditions, and affected both the same way.

Not if one team practiced for 2 weeks before the superbowl with a deflated ball and the other didn't ..... it's what the receivers are used to practicing with .. a sudden change can make a big difference, in how one anticipates the ball while receiving.

Chew on this.....each team provides their own balls to use during the game.

In fact, the team name is stamped on the balls.

The only time the opposing team would touch a football they didn't bring to the game would be if it were intercepted, fumbled or blocked.

Which is exactly what the defensive player for the Colts did. Intercepted the ball, kept it as a souvenir and the Colts equipment manager noticed it felt soft.

Yes, there was cheating there. Again. And again and again. Being the golden children of the NFL, it'll go on again in the future. They make money for the league....as if the league needs it.
