Women who cry rape are more likely to show a pattern of behavior involving lying about being victims of other crimes to save face or get sympathy and attention.
Did the young woman lie to salvage her reputation? Of course we don’t know; it may be that she thought that any level of intoxication renders consent invalid, as many campus programs are teaching today. But, as sociologist Kathleen Bogle and law professor Anne Coughlin recently noted in Slate, this is far from the legal standard for incapacitation required in a criminal finding of sexual assault. Even assuming the female student genuinely believed that what happened was rape, it was still, as the investigation concluded, a wrongful accusation—but one that won’t be recorded as an “unfounded rape report” by the FBI.

What is the penalty for false Police report in Virginia?
Be advised that it is a crime to make a false police report. Anyone found to have submitted a false police report will be prosecuted under the authority of Virginia State Code, Section 18.2-461, which shall be punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor. Maximum possible penalty is one year in jail and/or $2,500 fine.
Filing a false police report can lead to multiple criminal consequences. Many states call this charge "false report to a peace officer." It is one of the few types of speech that is not constitutionally protected. Lying to a law enforcement officer can result in a criminal conviction.
Minor infractions, like lying about a misdemeanor offense, usually results in a similar misdemeanor charge. Lying about felony offenses can result in felony level charges. Does Katie Eastman realize how horrible it's going to look for her when it comes out in court that she's been hooking up with the guy she knows has been stalking and harassing Lizzie and her family for years? The guy she has a protective order against and the same guy who not only called her a liar in the beginning, but then made it very clear what his intentions of contacting Katherine Eastman were in the first place.
Does she think the courts or anyone will believe she's some helpless victim when she's been talking to a guy who's been accused of, arrested for and is being sued for the exact same crimes she's accusing Lizzie of?
Perhaps someone should remind these two of how Michael Basl's own case went with Mr. Misery. Although he was the plantififf, information surfaced and he then became the defendant. The same thing is going to happen here. You can't claim you're some helpless victim but then go and do something as awful as team up with the person you know has been trying to destroy another person's life just because they posted on a message board. The courts will see right through that and charge accordingly.
It's also very obvious how this all played out too.
April 10th
The very first day Michael Josef Basl finds out Lizzie is testifying against him he contacts Katie to tell her about stalking?
If he was so concerned for the safety of Katie wouldn't he have contacted her when he first got this information? And these texts he speaks of - this is coming from the same man who spoofed the ID of another man and sent death threats to himself and had him falsely arrested.
The very same trial that Lizzie testified in against Micheal Basl in that started his entire campaign with Katie.
April 16th
The day Lizzie is to testify against Eesh, Katie Eastman's fiancé suddenly decides she'll choose that very day to contact Lizzie and ask her about court. Why would she ask Lizzie about court when she could have just asked her fiancé, Katie?
Are the courts, cops, police and anyone with a brain supposed to not catch on to the fact that Katie's fiancé, Kristy is also on the protective order and if Lizzie would have replied she would have been arrested and unable to testify against Eesh?
I mean, did the three of them actually think that was a good plan and that no one would catch on to their attempted obstruction of justice?
The protective order that Katie obtained under false pretenses "threatened to end life by shooting" which she, Lizzie, Kristy and GOD know - NEVER ever happened. Where's the proof of this? No texts, no Facebook message, no witnesses to this? Oh or is it supposed to be that gun picture that Katie cropped out? That cropped out the part where Lizzie clearly stated she was joking when sending the picture and had no threatening message attached to it? Oh yes. Falsifying documents and tampering with evidence is also a crime.
Fast forward to April 18th
Misery is found not guilty due to Lizzie's testimony. Eesh makes the statement that he looks forward to helping Katie put Lizzie where she belongs. Interesting.
May 9th
Megan and Eesh are going at it. Megan hints to Eesh that Lizzie would be testifying against him for his stalking and harassment against her

No. Don't worry. None of this is obvious at all to anyone. None of this will be brought up at court at all. They will all believe the poor helpless girl who's been talking to and meeting up with the same guy Lizzie told Katie about last year who was stalking her, the same guy she has a protective order against, the same guy who she's testifying agasint in four stalking cases, the same guy accused of stalking 30+ people here. Ha! No, this won't hurt her case nor her creditability one bit!
Because everyone knows - helpless victims of supposed stalkers work with the actual stalker of the person they have accused of stalking and threatening them? Right?

That's what the first protective order violation was for and she thought she could get it again but little does she know that dispatch made a mistake and believed her lies of "talking to papa johns employees" being a violation.
They radioed it in and asked if a "papa johns employee" was on the protective order. Since Katie's name appeared they said yes and that's how the first violation came about. It was wrong and the magistrates have apologized and thus, this is why Katie's repeated calls to police and trips to magistrates are no longer resulting in any arrests.
Everyone knows she lied. She lied about how the bomb threat thing went, lied about being stalked - didn't know that Lizzie works in that same shopping center and has to go past papa johns sometimes. So the stalking charge will be thrown out.
And let's not talk about the Facebook video and how she purposely didn't show the magistrate what the comments were.

I, being the bigger person and mature enough ADULT that I am, forgave him for outing, stalking, harassing me and my family and was civil to him and he left me alone, until I didn't want to go stalk Maggie Zeh with him and he posted my phone number on here. I hadn't seen him since then, for two years.
Then he got the lawsuit and came crying back, begging me for info. Then this shit at the courthouse happened where he admitted to sending the death threats and doing the swatting. Tell me how that's my fault? How was I supposed to know he was going to tell me that?
Now tell me how I'm sabotaging anyone's life. We have the girl who was cheating on her fiancé with me and didn't want me to tell so she had me arrested. Just like she threatened the other guy she was cheating on her fiancé with, with false rape claims and then the guy who's been stalking me for three years tells me how he had a guy falsely arrested and tried to have him shot dead by police and I'm the one trying to ruin their lives?
