The point I'm trying to get across is the claim that legalization will lead to an increase in crime is bunk. Obviously one can't point to legalization for any drop, but it is a coincidence. Next year's statistics should be interesting, maybe even vindicating.

There is more harm in throwing users in prison. Prison can turn a nonviolent offender into a violent bitter sack of shit.
