Seriously, what the fuck was Papa Joe talking about during his Costco visit yesterday?

"Well, Jill won't let me have my own card so, today when I told her I was going to visit this new store I went to get her card but, then she told me to get my own card."

Say wut?

They have virtually no living expenses. Why would they need a Costco membership?

I heard Paul Ryan snuck in to bake some muffins while Biden grabbed the attention of the media.

Virtually every agency has a "fine arts" program. Ours was paying a full
time Fine Arts Director $150K per year to choose paintings and pictures
to hang on the walls. The maintenance staff actually did the labor of
placing them and I have no idea what their hourly wage is but sometimes
there were major projects and the program itself is "ongoing".
This program also arranged for portraits of departing agency heads
to be made and placed in a certain hallway of the main building.
Back in the 50's an agency head had his portrait made with him holding
a pipe. When the anti-smoking craze took off they paid $25K to have
the portrait retouched, blotting out the pipe. Is this for real?
Sometimes they would borrow, rent, or lease artwork from galleries and
museums around the world. Then, there was the costs involved in flying
the Director all over the world to negotiate agreements and paying for
the shipping to and from our agency. I have no idea what the annual cost
of this was but it was substantial. The "program" only had a handfull
of supporters but we were all stuck with some of the most atrocious
looking monstrosities you could imagine in the name of "art". There
were a few (very few) nice exhibits but I swear, my kids could have
done a better job than some of them with a piece of paper and a box
of crayons. Isn't it time we put these programs in the bin of antiquity?

I'm not sure where you got some what slanted information(FOX News again?) but here are facts.

Biden Wife had a card. Biden was going to use her card for the visit. Biden's wife said "Noway! Get you're own card."

How do I know? Biden told everybody that in his visit.

Which anyone with a Costco membership knows is pure bullshit since (a) you can get multiple cards for the same account without paying separately and (b) it wasn't a case of him just getting his own card since the White House admitted the they paid the $55 to join again the day before.

“In all honesty, I didn’t have my own card, Jill wouldn’t let me have one,” he said, according to the White House pool report. “I went to get my wife’s card, and she said, ‘No, No, get your own card.’”

Seems whacky old Uncle Joe has a different definition of 'honesty' versus most people...

"A White House official told press that the vice president and his wife only renewed their Costco memberships on Wednesday, however.

“The Bidens have been Costco members in the past,” the White House official said in a statement. “The Vice President and Dr. Biden’s Costco memberships were re-activated yesterday; they paid the $55 membership re-activation fee to receive their new cards. The Vice President received his own card which he is carrying today while shopping at Costco.”

What's that old joke re how you know that a politician is lying?

Don't know why we need to see Biden at Costco unless he created the jobs but really?

He must have better things to do with his time.

I'm surprised to see DC allowing a big box store within their borders. Doesn't seem like the failed socialist haven that I remember.

FOX News broke the story early Thursday! Biden DID NOT HAVE A COSTCO CARD! He had to buy a COSTCO CARD the DAY BEFORE!

Yes, his wife did have a Costco card but JOE BIDEN did not!

We need to know WHEN Biden got his Costco card and when did he know it?

Costco Gate is going to break the back of the Democratic party!

What is a better use of his time than getting a little publicity for a company that gave his re-election campaign over a million bucks?
