Note from a Republican to other Republicans on FfxU

I know this is FfxU and the tendency on here is to act like a douchebag, but I think it's important to win with a little class. The American people voted for "change" yesterday, but this is just the beginning. The responsibility is now on a Republican-controlled Congress to make effective change that benefits all of the United States. Now is not the time to be assholes and focus on petty shit.
I am happy things went as well as they did last night. But the real work starts now.

You see bits of truth from the psychotic bird brained liberals. Note that he acknowledges the "dysfunction" of his party. What does the modern day democratic party even stand for anymore? War on women? Apeasing muslims? Adding more useless brown foodstamp scum to our population? Making heros out of Trayvon and Michael Brown? Having the IRS go after opponents? Running up more and more debt. Jesus Christ this country has gone to shit yet liberals are still blaming republicans 6 years later.

Nothing is going to change. Just republicans will be under the microscope and have to admit it's their fault since they are completely in control of congress.
All the power hungry Wingnuts like Cruz and Palin will try to take over congress using the "Constitution says" excuse.

I was referring to the dysfunction of the GOP you dumb fuck, remember those absurd dog-and-pony filibusters, the govt shutdown, dozens of appointees blocked without even allowing a vote, completely unrealistic attempts to overturn Affordable Healthcare, threats of lawsuits, impeachment, secession, disobedience of SCOTUS. Ad-fuckin-nauseaum. The GOP is like a broken record, don't expect them to start working again.

Reid was the one who started the filibuster abuse under Bush after they lost the majority. And he was the reason for most of the Republican use due to his limiting amendments and floor votes. Now you can watch him try to do exactly the same thing again when he's not happy with what's happening. At least if he's not completely neutered by the Dems after being a primary reason costing them the election.
Ball's in the other court now. There's going to be a steady stream of legislation headed to Obama that the Dems are going to have to try to block to keep it from looking like he's the "obstructionist" with continuing vetoes. Anything that they want to get done, they and he now are going to have to actually compromise on. Really compromise, not the do it our way or nothing approach Dems have used since Obama was elected.
Oh, and remember how awesome you thought that it was when he invoked the 'nuclear option' to change the rules for votes on nominees? There goes any of Obama's Supreme Court appointments unless Harry can get them through before January.
What was it that you guys liked to say so often? Oh yeah...

Unfortunately...this is so very true. I miss the days when there was SOME form of teamwork between the Dems and Reps, I really do. You have to give some to get some, and that is the beauty of the system. I'm a middle of the road Republican and wonder why the hell we're fighting stupid crap like Gay Marriage (Leave people alone!) and Abortion (already addressed...move on) when there are so many more important things that need bi-partisan support. This dig-our-heels-in mentality to try and get 100% of what the crackpots on the extreme right and the extreme left want is fruitless...and honestly, gives us little hope.

Do you have any idea how entertaining then next two years are going to be? Ted Cruz will be leading a revolt of Tea Party idiots against McConnell and Boehnor making fools of themselves while Hillary will be stomping them on the campaign trail.

Let me explain something to you Gerr Bear.
The "Tea Party" hasn't been particularly relevant other than at the margins since about 2011. Cruz included.
The "Tea Party" talking point crap is all for libtard consumption only. It's intended to manipulate you dumb hyper-partisan fucktards to get out and vote. Everyone else looks at you like you're a dumbass when you start up with that crap. Yeah, I know you're used to people looking at you like you're a dumbass so it's hard to distinguish.
You're still fighting battles against the "Tea Party" with the War on Women, government shutdown, and all of the rest of that crap. Nobody other than you idiots care. The Republicans did a good job of putting up candidates that didn't fit into the box that you wanted to try to put them and people have higher priorities than listening to stupid talking point bullshit like that. That's why you guys lost miserably.

You're clueless.
The more interesting battle to watch will be the on the Dem side as Obama fights for any remaining relevance as Dems completely abandon and push blame on him personally for everything that's gone wrong during his administration versus the party.
