They won't even let him prepare orders or work the cash register.

Making milkshakes is just too tough for him.

He has both practical and education credentials. Can he survive the interview? that's the question. He'd have to get some of that stuff that makes your hands stop sweating. He'd have to keep religion and BLM out of the interview. And most important NEVER mention he composed the song Black Lives Splatter. Corporate gets notified that he is in the Middle management bracket and all hell would break loose. If he thinks that song is a feather in his cap he is crazy.

I have a tough time thinking of Meade handling drive thru orders, sans manager operations. Meade under pressure would fold quickly. A manager not only has to handle pressure but also be able to understand how to best deal with complicated heated situations.

Plus, a manager needs to the support of a team to follow a leader. I can't see people giving Meade enough respect to have him as a manager.

I think with his charisma, Meade would excel in public relations or in marketing rather than as a manager. Kind of like Magic Johson with the Washington Commanders. Meade does a great job managing his career, but he would be better utilized not being tied down to routine day to day management tasks.

A fat person as a spokesperson for Chick-Fil-A? Corporate would never approve of that.

I highly doubt Chick-Fil-A wants a fat person in any commercial. A fat person would completely blow the image that chicken is healthy.

he has the right stuff you betcha. reminds me of the ambitious Subway spokesperson

If only Meade had a better voice.

That would have been a good career for him.

Meade needs to get some balls and act like a real man. Meade needs more interaction with his brother. AND... Meade needs to listen to family.

I'd say Meade trying to deal with customers is difficult enough. I don't see Meade advancing past a simple clerk job.

Meade is all set until his dad dies and the reverse mortgage forecloses on the house.

His father is 89 so it is years before Meade has to worry about that.

Meade started working the window and preparing orders like most every other entry level employee does at Chick-fil-a.

He failed now all he can do is fetch orders to cars and clean the toilets.

It is going to be a bit before he works his way back up to clerk.

The last time I donated to a gofundme, it was $25 to a police widow with two newly fatherless children.

Of course, that was before Meade Skelton started his. A middle aged man who is too lazy to get a full time job vs a family devastated after he father being killed in the line of duty. It would be a toughie if I had to choose between the two.

Maybe we should be more worried about Meade just be able to be employed at Chick-Fil-A. Sounds like Meade is struggling to survive in the real business world.

My biggest problem at work tomorrow will be can I upgrade my company car and should roll more of work pension\retirement into other funds. Should be an interesting week. I hope to get two certifications to tack on another $20k to my salary this year.

Meade is Chick-Fil-A's costumed mascot, just as Willard Scott was McDonald's costumed mascot Ronald McDonald. Willard Scott never managed a McDonalds either.

Meade is wisely focusing primarily on his entertainment career. Eventually when Meade comes into a load of money, either from his entertainment career or an inheritance, he might invest in Chick-Fill-A franchise(s) but he would obviously hire someone else to do the day to day management.

Short answer: NO.

Meade is first and foremost an entertainer. Meade's music is just a part of his routine and he would arguably benefit by cutting back on the percentage of music in his performances. It speaks volumes that Meade's most popular shows have little or no music at all. Meade essentially uses his "music" as a foil; or a straw man puppet akin to a ventriloquist dummy. This can be seen for example in Meade's recent video offering a critique of Oliver Anthony in which Meade compared himself to Anthony -- with great comedic effect.

I have to agree. Meade needs to work back to getting a cashier job first.
