Because they went after the poor and suppliers who were ratted out by hungrier competition.It doesn't fucking matter if you're a democrat or a republican,if you're rich and have connections in America...you're not going to jail for drugs.

The WAR ON POVERTY STARTED IN THE 1960s to uplift poor Americans
Democrats gave it up when they figured out they can get more votes from importing millions upon millions of impoverished illegals who will become green cards after parenting an American citzen and legal immigrants who need public assistance as soon as they come here and can qualify , so the drugs flow in mass by the tons over our southern border where illegals come through
The result is the killing machines of mostly young black men in the totally Democrat controlled high crime drugged cities across the USA
Trillons spent with no win because Democrats must import impoverished people for public assistance votes , to hell with the American citizens who are poor as there's never enough money to go around as we bring more poor into America
The more you learn the more you never knew about Democrats failing the American people in such horrible ways
