Meghan McCain Stands Behind Comments that Sarah Palin is Crazy

Meghan McCain might change a few words around, but she's not too worried about how her criticisms of Sarah Palin have aged over the past few years.

In an interview with Politico, the TV show host and daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) stood by her remarks against her father's onetime running mate.

“You know Sarah Palin, some of the stuff I said, again I would maybe term differently,” McCain said. “But I think the criticism I have said of her is fair."

In her 2010 memoir, "Dirty Sexy Politics," McCain wrote that Palin's selection as the vice presidential candidate brought her father's campaign "drama, stress, complications, panic and loads of uncertainty."

"Sarah Palin. She was turning out to be somebody who leaves a wake of confusion and chaos -- to the point of dizziness -- wherever she went," she wrote.

More recently, McCain appeared on the Howard Stern Show and compared Palin to an oddball relative.

“t’s like my crazy aunt or something that people all want to tell me about,” she said.

And Palin proves that point every time she opens her mouth. I don't see how she was a governor. She's not a good enough liar. She probably mailed a pin-up poster to every man in Alaska and got elected from that.
