MEANWHILE, on Steam, Sega still sells it's games - at a very reasonable price.

Sega said long ago we don't sell ROMS because:

* it's a niche market" - very few users are willing to set up a PC to run an emulator to run ROMs "in an emulator where games run kidna broken sometimes with bad or no music support"

* they DO sell ROMs to companies like Nintendo - but no to no-name companies who they don't even know exist - which would be 1,398 chinese companies who APPEAR AND DISAPPEAR IN THE ONLINE STORES faster than Sega can keep a list of them

* it is impossible to legally sell a ROM licenses then unlicense it if abused - it's easier to just NOT sell ROM at all

Back, say in 2004? I had Debian Sarge running (or was it redhat) and there was this EMULATOR do download (and spend an hour setting up?)

So I checked for these "ROMs" and found germans UK china "selling them on websites". I'm like "ha - those are the same assholes who uploaded the crappy emulators no one asked them to be the boss of".

I found out after many AltaVista searchs: SEGA wasn't selling the ROMs. THey were STOLEN.

I NOW SEE IT DIFFERENTLY. THESE FUCKERS INTENTLY TRY TO DAMAGE USA'S HOLDINGS IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE (china, germany, uk). THIS WAS JUST ONE VECTOR OF ATTACK THEY ARE STILL RUNNING. They spend more money attacking USA than making any product. But they hoard and make products too: which they want 0 competition to. ie: Witcher III, GTA5, SkyScapes or what.
