Then Democrats raised the cash amount of felonies in Virginia from 200 dollars to well over 600 dollars letting criminals who steal your property you worked hard to buy off with a ticket and a smile as Democrats send the message to tell you the victim to f off

The limit should have been raised, and should have gone up to $1,000. When the $200 figure was set, $200 was serious money. Those days are gone. Plus these limits apply only to thefts. Burglary and robbery remain felonies in Virginia. So do repeat shopliftings. Any CA worth his salt can figure out how to upcharge.

The real problem in Virginia is the failure to arrest, prosecute and incarcerate for a reasonable period of time people who commit those crimes. All of that requires money. BIG MONEY. Conservatives like to talk about being tough on crime. When it comes to paying for it they are as cheap as anyone.
