Well the greatest gun crimes are being commited in Democrat controled cities just look at Chicago New York Baltimore LA where young black men are killing other young black men in numbers that are horrific , and so many of these killings drug related
Thus making all people take a drug test before buying a gun will stop much of these killings nation wide lowering the numbers of gun crimes with the deaths and wounding they bring when drugged criminals are able to obtain guns
Additionally these drug pushers use straw purchasers , poor people who buy guns for the pushers for money who them selves can pass background checks but use drugs like weed themselves which is federally illegal to use to buy a gun thus they too will be stopped from getting the pushers guns stopping gun crimes related to straw purchases which Democrats scream are Virginias and other pro gun rights states fault and our state laws must be toughened with oppressive Democrat acts when it's straw purchessers who too often use weed who buy the guns traveling up to New York to end up as crime guns that killed people
Democrats push for background checks and licensing schemes which only hinder the law abiding and do not stop the criminals from getting guns
SO drug testing all those who buy a gun will stop many gun crimes from occurring
