I call it "cause & effect" after Obama was in a rush too do a victory lap claiming Iraq could take care of itself. It has got to be killing him to have to start forming a coalition. My advise ti him would be, Blame Bush!

Pulling out of Iraq was a bad idea, but going in there in the first place was even worse.
It's like spilling a glass of milk and complaining the other guy isn't doing a very good job of cleaning it up.
Between the first and second Gulf wars Saddam Hussain would not allow U.N. inspectors into Iraq. Do you think there is any chance that he had his WMDs removed? But Thanks for giving a murdering dictator the benefit of the doubt?

Nope. WWII was the last formal declaration of war.
That's mostly a technical nitpick though since at a practical level passage of the War Powers Resolution and the process it establishes has for the most part replaced formal declarations of war. They still are possible but very likely won't be used other than maybe a formal statement in some unusual case. Obviously, we can run wars, however you want to label them, without such a formal declaration.

So a country having a murderous dictator and potential WMD's is cause for invasion? 'Cause we'd have to start invading a whole bunch of countries if that were true.
My point stands, we shouldn'tve gone in there again in the first place.
Look, Saddam controlled the 4th. largest army in the world. Invaded his neighbors, gassed the Kurds, killed and tortured 10s of thousands. He got what he deserved. Quit being a pussy-ass, libatard!
