In The Last 2 Years I Have Lost Some Dear Friends!

I try not to let it consume me, but WOW!, several have died, mostly from cancer! I'm early 50's and I feel like I'm starting to see how close the end really is. As my circle of friends continues to shrink, I don't really have any urge to try to make new friends. The older I get the less I care about socializing. I've stopped using social media for the most part, as it seems to do more harm than good. I'm certain the Covid lock downs are a big part of my anti-socializing, but I think it's more life in general.

Life stands still for no one! It's a cruel game we all play with the same end result of death. Sometimes, when I'm doing a task, making something for someone else, or just going about my day, I step back and think about how worthless what I am doing really is. When we die ~ eventually EVERYTHING that we did won't matter at some point in time!

Sadly, I have lost many friends to Covid. It's real sad, but they're gone & I can't do nothing about it.

So sad.
