China builds full scale CVN target in the desert to study submunitions and how Not to sink an Aircraft Carrier

Here’s the good news, China isn’t trying to sink a US Navy Carrier.

Here’s the bad news, they are already pretty confident they can sink one, so confident that they have moved on to how not to sink one with submunitions. They just want to destroy the flattop and make it a smouldering mess Without sinking it and crashing the dollar when that smouldering mess is played on satellite TV all over the world again and again.

This is good news for our Sailor Fags.

I’m still not wholly convinced their “carrier killer” missile (D-21) is potent enough to sink it considering the missile they tested earlier in the year missed its target by 24 miles. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

Only that was a hypersonic nuke delivery system that can go around the South Pole and strike from the Southern Hemisphere that missed by 24 miles.

It wasn’t a carrier killer.

I’m aware of that. Which army intelligence school did you graduate from again?

If they cannot get their (presumably) most advanced missile technology on target, why should I be overly concerned with weapons that are specifically designed to target our carriers? Btw, hypersonic missile technology is over 30 years old. There’s a reason DoD hasn’t sunk the time and $ China and Russia have into the technology

24 Miles miss is for a weapon that’s still In Development.

A weapons system that’s been in development for over 30 years and with stolen technology lol. Just because you read the Janes reference guides doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about.

24 Miles is nothing for a thermonuclear delivery system. You’re still gonna die.

Just because you are extremely stupid, doesn’t give you a pass.

It's not hard to kill a carrier once you know where it is. But you might need to fire 300 million renminbi worth of cruise missiles at it.

Loose lips sink ships.

I be more than willing to put a bullet in the head of a Navy personell who talks about sinking ships.
