Meade’s Symphony No. 5
Posted by: Ludwig Van Skelton ()
Date: October 07, 2021 09:56PM

Several hundred years from now, people worldwide will listen to Meade’s music and marvel at it in the same way we marvel at Beethoven or Mozart today. However, I personally feel Meade’s music is closer to Bach’s, with its complex geometry, and a softness and passion that at times is pierced with a unexpected crescendo. Sweet Tea is Meade’s magnum opus.

Beethoven composed his most famous works when he was deaf. Meade skelton makes music that causes people to wish they were fucking deaf, and assume that maybe he is while he "sings" and hammers away at a keyboard

Meade could do a lot better than that so=called "classical" piece of mulekick arranged by Paul McCartney a few ears ago. Not taking anything away from Sir Paul, he is no doubt a genius, but Meade could, i'm betting, put out a valeint equal. He lacks motivation and is lazy, that is his sole vice.

Then why can't Meade write a song more complex than the standard ABA form.

Seriously, Meade is still writing songs in a primitive noobie style after all these years.

Meade will be remembered as the dead soldier in Field of Lost Shoes. Decades from now, theater students will be analyzing and emulating Meade's distinctive acting style.

Meade is at his best when he is asleep, so he was a natural at deceased roles.
Meade left acting because he was being typecast as a dead man.

he was cast as the title character in the student film "Turn me on dead man"!

Complexity doesn't always equal better. Meade picked a style and labored on it and made it work

Then It isn't surprising that people consider his music repetitious and boring.

I agree with OP. Meade’s music sounds like a more modern version of my own. Ludwig would appreciate it too if he could hear it

That shit worked on Anna Magdalena but why are you trying to seduce Meade?

From stalking and love songs to simple carbs, his music's personality is certainly unpleasant.

Who really cares what people on FFXU think, One thing for certain is very few people listen to Meade's music and want to hear more.
Meade is a loser in the ears of public opinion.

I grew up near Nashville and moved here about 15 years ago. My suggestion to Meade would be to move to Nashville and play his music there. His style of music would fit well there, because they all know good country and western when they hear it. People in Virginia are very unsophisticated when it comes to music which is probably why there are so many people here who criticize him

It's because he sucks, he makes trash ass "music", he has a shit personality, he's an all around garbage human being, and rather than accepting any constructive criticism he responds by creating sockpuppet accounts to pretend like he has fans and drown out the critical responses by going on and on about how great he thinks he is. Fuck meade skelton. This is why people just lose all pretense of being nice about it with him.

Never compare a hayseed like Meade to Beethoven and not expect giggles from people who listen to Beethoven.

Here is a fun question. Other than the Meadow street Band, when was the last time real musicians played with Meade or went to one of his concerts? It isn't surprising that Meade hasn't progressed as a musician since he has isolated himself from other musicians.

Some musicians are better solo artists because their music is so powerful it overwhelms the other artists if they played with them. It could also be a jealousy thing. It’s broken up more than one band.

Meade just sits there regurgitating the same shit year after year without any feedback or input from other musicians and then he wonders why people aren't interested in hearing his music.
