DIA's top Cuba analyst, Ana Montes, was arrested by the FBI for spying for Cuba. Montes never removed documents from work, but memorized classified info, typed it up at home and provided encrypted disks to her handlers. After pleading guilty, she was sentenced to 25 years. As of December 2019, Montes is incarcerated at FMC Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
