Get a crock pot. Best hedge against inflation ever. Learn to cook like a poor person.

Go to farmers market if you can and buy lean meat (it gets tender in crock pot!, make huge batches of chili.

Also ask for bones, throw those in.

Boom - you just saved 50% on food prices.

Grab extra sauce packets while at Chick Fil a. Take them home, get a large pan and add water. Heat water and mix in sauce. Stir. Wonderful hot delicious soup.

Buy a 05 06 or 07 Toyota Corolla. It gets 26 mpg and never breaks down, just needs tires brakes and oil changes. Never breaks down. But you will die in a bad crash.
