RIchmond Decides if Confederate Statue Can Be Sold to Private Groups Who Want to Publicly Bash and Destroy Them

Following a unanimous vote at a meeting Monday evening, Richmond City Council has established a process for deciding where the city’s Confederate monuments that were removed last summer will go.
Those statues currently sit in storage. The City has received 22 requests to take ownership of the monuments.
City Council members voted to approve RES 2021-R025 which sets the process for choosing the next owners of each of Richmond’s Confederate monuments. The city-owned monuments to the Confederacy were removed last summer following a period of civil unrest.
A collaborative committee made up of members of the city administration and members of the Office of the Council Chief of Staff will meet on Thursday to begin reviewing the request scoring process. The Office of the Council Chief of Staff has released a rough draft of a Monuments Criteria Evaluation Scoresheet.

Black Lives Matter will be the highest bidder for the Lee Statue.
They planned to have jack hammers and sledge hammers to destroy the Lee statue at a public demonstration in Richmond. The committee to decide the fate is made up democrats who will sell the statue.

I'll donate $100 if I can bash the head of traitor Lee off the statue. Hopefully Meade Skelton will be in attendance when the statue is hacked apart.

No matter what happens to the statues, history will remain the same. Lee, Jackson, Davis, and the rest of the Confederate heroes still betrayed their country. They still led a war of insurrection against the lawful government of the United States and were directly responsible for killing more American soldiers, on both sides, than Bin Laden could have in his wettest of dreams. All so that states would have the "right" to base their societies upon the institution of chattel slavery.
That is the history of these "heroes". Not the statues. And the contributions of these "heroes" will not soon be forgotten, no matter what happens to the statues.

The Mayor violated the law , even a judge said so. But they will not prosecute because Virginia and Richmond are now run by the CCP.
