He looked completely oblivious to what the witness was saying. It appears, again, he does not care about his job,his constituants, and his responsibilities as a Senator.

Clearly you fags know nothing of how all this works. Dozens of times over the years, I have literally seen a member ask a question of a witness then get up and walk out as they were starting to answer the question.

The best is when the Committee member is given five minutes to ask questions of the witness. The member then rambles on for four minutes thirty seconds before asking one question, giving the witness no real time to answer the bloviated query.
Senator McCain was a master of that move. Lindsey Graham uses it a lot, but with him it is always too obvious.

Spot on. I can remember a witness from the Postal Service once saying, "I can answer that, but not in the small amount of time you allotted me." McCain then threw his pen down on the table with a look of disgust. Priceless!
