It's not that hard to get in shape, and peep is still relatively young. Once people reach a certain physical height or size threshold they don't need to have such great athletic skills. Moreover his late father (Bzzzzap!) played college football, and his mother is a skilled horsewoman. I feel pretty confident that with just a few months of training and playing, peep could be competitive in many sports that favor height and reach.
Peep is just lazy and unmotivated. But he can change that...
