A third mining company in a month in this area has announced it will file for bankruptcy.

Blackhawk Mining, which operates mines in Floyd, Breathitt, Knott, Perry, Leslie and Magoffin counties, in West Virginia and in Indiana, this morning announced that it has reached agreements with “over 90% of its lenders” that will allow it to stay in business “with no disruption to employees, vendors, customers, or operations.”

Blackhawk, based in Lexington, made the announcement this morning. Its companies include Blue Diamond, Pine Branch, and Spurlock in Kentucky; Hampden Coal, Blue Creek Mining, Panther Creek, Kanawha Eagle, and Rockwell Complex in West Virginia; and Triad in southwestern Indiana.

Nobody cares about their economic tax value to the local economy and tax base for local grocery stores, gas stations, hardware, pharmacy, doctors, car dealers, insurance brokers, mortgage and real estate companies, teachers and schools, police and fire stations, ambulances and EMTs, road and bridges, etc. .

Trump & Republicans say taxes and big government and worker safety and mining regulations and environmental protections are bad - and they are bringing those mining jobs back.

Those Government welfare and food stamp checks will run out for those coal miners because Republicans gutted those programs. Those programs are socialist and evil. Plus the blacks and the illegals are living off them for free.

Those mining families' Medicare/Medicsaid benefits will run out too. They may have to make hard choices like going to the doctor or paying for their medicine versus feeding their kids, paying the electric bill, or paying their mortgage. Republicans have cut those benefits too. Socialized medicine is evil.

But the Miners support Trump and Republicans because the murdering, raping, stealing, drug dealing Mexican illegals are the one's stealing their coal mining jobs, overcrowding their class rooms, living off socialist welfare and food stamps. Government regulations shut down their mines, took their jobs, and polluted their farm land and water supplies - not the companies mining and fracking companies.

Now in 2020 after Joe Biden won presidential elections democrats are again in full control over the situation. Will see after months how everything will go and what changes will be visible.
