ROBBERY: 4900 block of Manitoba Drive, 8/18/20, 6:36 p.m. A man arranged to meet the victim using a social media application. During the meeting, the man displayed a knife, took personal property and left. No injuries were reported.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT/POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY: 3400 block of Lake Street, 8/19/20, 7:30 p.m. Officers arrested Angel Matute-Aviles, 18, for trespassing after previously being banned from the property. During the arrest an officer was assaulted.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6218 Leesburg Pike, (Mobil Gas Station) 8/20/20, 10:32 p.m. A man entered the store, assaulted two employees and demanded money. The man then displayed a handgun, took cash and ran away. There were no injuries reported.

BURGLARY/STOLEN AUTO: 2200 block of Double Eagle Court, 8/12/20, 1:34 p.m. Homeowners reported someone entered the home overnight and stole property including their 2011 Toyota Sienna van.

GUNS SHOTS FIRED - MAN HIT: 4900 block of Americana Drive, 8/16/20, 9:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had been shot and found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries that were later downgraded to stable.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 5211 Ox Road (Exxon), 8/17/20, 7:21 p.m. A man entered the store, followed the clerk behind the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register. The man took cash and left.
