I didn't see this until this morning.

Meade justifies his slothful existence. He admits to being 41-years old and never having a full time job.

The most disturbing thing was Meade condemning "God helps those who help themselves". He probably has gotten that a lot over the years. He has a leech like lifestyle, and he complains about not having the things he thinks he deserves. But for the most part, people who show initiative seem to get rewarded.

"God helps those who help themselves" is a corollary to several verses including
James 2 17

I wonder what kind of “humbling” job he got for $15 an hour. I have no idea what it’s like outside of Fairfax county but that doesn’t seem too bad. Couldn’t live on that around here but i’m guessing it’s doable in cheaper areas.

Add in 600 bucks a month from SSI and he is going to be the wealthiest person at the Sally Army.

SSDI is calculated from one's salary over the last few years of work.

His SSI is no doubt still more than he would get on his part-time minimum wage cow job.
