The Washington Football Team hires Jason Wright as the league's first Black team president

Wright will be responsible for the business side of the organization, including operations, finance, sales, and marketing, according to a statement from the Washington organization. Wright, who had a seven-year career in the league as a running back, is the first black president of an NFL team.

Wright got his undergraduate degree at Northwestern and his MBA from the prestigious Booth school of business. He also worked for one of the premier consulting firms on the planet McKinsey & Company. He’s qualified.
