Why does Joe Biden make so much stuff up and will it hurt him in the election against Trump?

Lied about being arrested trying to visit Nelson Mandela.

Told moving but false war story about a soldier not wanting a Silver Star.

Claims he only voted for Iraq War because he was fooled by Bush, but lobbied for the war in 1998. Lied.

Lied about marching for civil rights in the 1960's. He didn't.

Had to quit his 1988 Presidential campaign after evidence of plagiarism surfaced. Also lied big time about his education, the number of degrees he earned and class ranking.
