Guns are for cowards, pussies and dishonorable men

It makes me laugh when I hear men boast of their collection of firearms. Guns are the weapon of choice for the plebs. It's shame they caught on. I much prefer swords and own several. Guns require no real skill and do not convey any sense of nobility or honor. It takes several years, even a lifetime to fully master the art of swordsman ship. It also requires considerable stamina and strength as well as intelligence. Any overweight and illiterate rustic can wield and use a firearm. If/when WWIII kicks off, and the nuclear exchanges pretty much result in societal collapse, I hope swords make a comeback.

I am a liberal - firearms are tools. Nothing more nothing less. I shot my first firearm when I was 6. I shot target in HS at the police station every Monday night for some time. Hammer,knife, shovel, chainsaw and a shotgun - all tools. Anyone not interested in just shooting up washing machines and abandoned cars at the junk yard knows assault-style weapons serve no rational function in civilian hands. Same with high capacity magazines. At best they are toys (albeit quit fun) at worst, well we specialize at mass shootings using them here in the US.
Anyway we need firearms for hunting, target and yes on very rare occasions self defense. The idea we need them to defend against tyrants is laughable.
