How does a water/wet droplet linger and float in air for 3 hours?

I see dust particles in the sunlight in my house, they aren’t wet and don’t stay adrift for 3 hours

How do you know the dust particles don't stay airborne for 3 hours? Can you focus on one and watch it? No.

Not sure what you're getting at with your post

Here's an experiment for you.

Cook some bacon, fish or cabbage in the kitchen. Then see if you can smell it at the other side of the house. If you can, those are particles floating through the air. If the house still stinks of it 3 hours later, the particle are still active.

The drier the air, the longer particles will drift around. Moisture in the air weighs down molecules and they fall to the ground and eventually become inactive. This is why less people get sick during the summer months, when the air is humid.

However, humidity can actually make virus's more contagious because they are more easily attachable to people, albeit for the short amount of time they are airborne.

Things were so much simpler when all we needed to worry about were political assassinations and hippy death cults like the Manson Family.

In most conditions, in this area, the virus floats around for around 30 minutes, but can last for up to 3 hours in certain conditions. BTW, 30 minutes is plenty of time to float around and make contact with someone.

Another problem is, once it lands it can last for around 72 hours on plastic or steel. Cardboard takes around 24 hours and copper kills it quickly, in around 4 hours.

Dude, you’re too young, that’s a reference to lyrics of a Paul McCartney song. Are you hip?
