Why do toilet paper companies always say how many sheets a roll has?

No one counts the sheets or just uses one sheet.
They need to change it to how many “wads”

That assumes you wad rather than fold. They would need to specify number of handfuls, both wads and folded.

I wrap the paper around my hands about 10 times, wipe my ass with it, fold it, wipe...if needed I repeat
