Every piece of furniture at the Department of motor vehicles is made by prisoners. Most of the desks and chairs at our colleges and universities are made by prisoners. Even police uniforms and lunch lady aprons are made by prisoners and it saves us taxpayers a ton of money!

I owned a land scaping and HVAC business in Missouri before retirement and in MO, you can hire inmates to manufacture custom uniforms. I was skeptical but looking to save money and was very impressed with the quality of the uniforms. I would have paid twice the cost for buying cheap Chinese made uniforms.
