Numerous Military Cadets Display White Power Hand Signs at Army Navy Game

The Army and Naval academies said they were looking into whether hand symbols by cadets and midshipmen at a football game on Saturday were related to hate groups.
United States military officials said they were investigating whether Army cadets and Navy midshipmen had flashed hand symbols associated with hate groups during a nationally televised pregame show before their football matchup on Saturday.
A broadcast showed cadets from the United States Military Academy and midshipmen from the Naval Academy in the stands displaying the sign at least twenty times behind ESPN broadcaster Rece Davis before the game, which was held at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday.
President Trump attended the game and met with players in both locker rooms before the game.
The United States Military Academy announced on Sunday night that it had started an investigation into the use of hand gestures by alot of cadets during ESPN’s “College GameDay” broadcast.
“The United States Military Academy is fully committed to developing leaders of character who embody the Army values,” Lt. Gen. Darryl Williams, the academy’s superintendent, said in a statement.
