Why would anyone go to the Nations Gun Show at the Expo Center?

Much better deals to be had online. I've gotten dozens of AK and AR high capacity mags for about $6 each on average. You won't be able to touch that at the NGS. People will be in a buying frenzy two weeks. Save the heartache. Go the subreddit gundeals or VAguns and get value for your money. A good FFL will charge $20 with an additional $2 - $4 per additional gun. Beats the hell out of the markups at NGS. Consider yourselves advised

People don't go so much for the actual "deals" as they do going to socialize, get some hands on time with the products and just be around their fellow guntards. I've been to a couple gun shows and although I don't own any and don't really want to, I'm perfectly fine with people owning them. I have never met anyone at any of these events that I thought wasn't mentally balanced enough to own one.

You can do ok there, but you have to know what you want and know how much to pay. It’s not a place to browse and shop. Check what the going price is online for what you want and make a firm offer. I’ve negotiated and won, and negotiated and walked away.

Where online are you getting quality 30-round mags? The least expensive I have seen is $9 for pmags in bulk buying 10 of them.
