Two GOP senators say McConnell will probably move to acquit Trump, not just stop at failing to remove

2 republican senators have told the press that McConnell and the GOP leadership in the Senate are considering holding a vote on acquittal, which would be unprecedented. This would not only not remove Trump from office but would state that Trump was innocent of the articles put forth by the House and basically bitch-slap the House for sending them forward.

I agree. The Senate needs to send a message to the House that impeachment needs to be serious, bi-partisan, transparent, and reserved to real shit and not just a political hammer to be pulled out when the other party has the White House. This would be a message to both parties in the lower chamber to get their shit together and try and legislate something for a fucking change that actually helps the American people. Enough of the endless investigations, whether it's Benghazi or Russia/Ukraine.

Well... Benghazi was a different animal. People actually lost their lives on that.
Russia and Ukraine is a complete fabrication that is solely based on a fraudulent document known as the Steele Dossier.
