one of tens of areas flooded with tear gas where throngs of general public were (ie including kids - not a small antifa mob - a normal crowd). in many photos it is not clear if it is (real tear gas fired by police or smoke bombs set by "protest planners" - no evidence in photo)

(in old europe sending troops to kill peasants was a regular affair - and royalty was pretty as could be back then)
There's a HUGE difference with december 2019 protests: they are government working protesting against pension changes (they are using yellow vests though THEY ARE WHO THE ORIGINAL YELLOW VESTS HAD BEEN PROTESTING AGAINST)
The Yellow Vests had been protesting against gasoline price hikes BY the government which were for funding government increases such as pay raises.
The fact is - protest organizers seemed skilled these days at creating things that are not as they first seem.
there's a good question here. that is - WHY DOESN'T MACRON EVER WEAR A YELLOW TIE? it's blue, always blue.
and if he did - would there be anyone in france who wasn't a yellow vest?

It appears in France he will get spammed with yellow vests appearing to be the original "no more tax" protests no matter what he does: raise or lower.
