I want to become an officer of the law, but I'm not sure which department to join

I want to do real police work, not just sit in a squad car with my dick in my hand, or baby sitting drunk assholes, so Arlington PD is ruled out immediately. I don't think there is really enough "action" in Falls Church or Leesburg, so i'll pass on them at least for now. Alexandria and Fairfax could be options. I'd get a chance to do actual police work. I've even considered joining DCPD and even PGPD, but I don't know if I would be biting off more than I could chew. Any suggestions?

Why? What are you really looking to do?
You should know that most agencies engage in a significant amount of de-policing today. This "action" you seek is the shit that gets you on the news and fired. The days of actual police work against actual criminals have passed.

Department of Justice for sure. Fed's are the best and only hire the best so the pay is better and the prestige can't be beat. They also handle the high profile cases so they become famous.
The whole corrupt Trump Administration thing is going to take years to investigate and there are tons of Trump traitors and scofflaws and criminals to track down and send to the gallows. Mistresses, spies, traitors, international intrigue, pay offs, embezzlement, illegal campaign contributions, etc.
You could have huge career, become a talking head on one of the major channels, write some books, have your screenplay picked up for a movie series and a couple TV spin off shows.

Rookie cops get the shit jobs. You will spend the first five - ten years doing all those things you stated you don't want to do. Irritating the citizenry giving out chickenshit tickets, radar, rolling stops, etc,

Come join our Vienna Police force, you can do important things such as give tickets to drivers going 2 miles over the limit, break up fights at VI, bust Madison kids for weed.

gerrymanderer2 (OP) posts several lies on ffu daily - many\.10think he's a fx co gov worker who is getting paid to do it for false DNC democrat "advertising". he floods ffu with useless posts to bump down major news, posts fecal matter, mutilated bodies, child porn, foreign drug ads and sneaker ads, tells people to kill themselves and government should seize them and put them on psych pills in prison - decided by democrat gov of course, promotes kangaroo courthouse trials, gives anti-religious rants, gives satanic ritual rants, posts black males with large dicks on white young females, portends white low birth rate and fall of USA, food tampering/poisoning, and anything possible to DEMORALIZE white people on ffu. They also are issued firearms and are trained at the
Federal Law Enforcement Training center in Georgia. They are trained in use of automatic firepower .

LAPD. They usually do testing at several different cities around the country so you don't have to go all the way to California just for the test.
Stay there for a couple of years and then transfer to any department that is POST certified.
