Local connections. I remember back in 1980 DC 101 did a live remote with Eddie at the Bayou. The entire concert was played live on the air.

Didn't Eddie barf on Don Geronimo's bed at Bobby Poe, right here in Fairfax, one year? Or was it the other way around?

Didn't he write the song "Trinidad" without ever actually going there?

Members of his band wrote "Trinidad," and yes, at the time of the writing, had never been to Trinidad.

What will the county fairs in the Midwest do next summer? Quick someone check to see if Loverboy, Ted Nugent, Quarterflash, or Starland Vocal Band are availabe!

Since Eddie is gone and was a staple every year on the fly-over zone county fair circuit, an opportunity exists for our very own Meade Skelton to fill that void. Start making the phone calls, Meade, and book those shows!

Donnie G. was partying in Eddie Money's hotel room and Don threw up on Eddie's bed. Don loved telling that story.
